Having DDD as my initials for the original 3D initials task didn't make for a very compelling model so I modified it to include a lower-case D (DDd) and I think the end product is a lot more interesting as a result.

Week 7 - Playing with Lighting
The task required I create a new model of my room/workspace, but this time modified to allow another source of natural light. Since my room is located in the back corner of the house, I decided to created a notch in the corner that 'sunk' into the room from ceiling to floor. This model is in 1:30, smaller than the previous 1:20 scales for the week 5 models.
The result of this lighting addition is a 'column of light' that I think adds a bit of drama, which I always like. More practically, it opens up the other half of the room to natural lighting as well.
Week 7 - Human Scale Figures
The original models created back in weeks 5 and 6, but this time with scaled human figure (1:20) at a real life height of 1.7m

Week 5 - Paper and Cardboard Models
Rough measurements of my room were taken
These measurements were then converted according to a 1:20 scale, for modelling with plain A4 printer paper. (I decided not to stick with 1:10 as it would have required pieces that exceeded the size of the A4 paper I only have available in my house)
The final result:
A second model was also made of the same room at the same scale, but with cardboard instead (sourced from cereal boxes). I found that the cardboard, while much sturdier than printer paper and possessing the thickness to prevent bleeding of light through the material, was also a bit harder to manipulate and glue together.

Week 5 - Modelling in Fusion 360
Using the skills learned from the tutorial videos, I created this model of 3 rectangular prisms inspired by the entryway in my house.
